Terms of Use

By installing or using Tickface, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app.

1. What you get

Tickface is a collection of live wallpapers for Android. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app and its designs on devices you own or control, for your own use.

2. Free and paid designs

• Some designs are free and stay free. They have no time limit and no watermark.
• Others are paid, bought once through Google Play. A purchase unlocks that design on any device signed in to the same Google account, for as long as Google Play supports the purchase.
• Prices are shown in your local currency by Google Play and may differ between countries. Taxes are handled by Google.
• Every paid design can be previewed in full inside the app — every colour preset and every backdrop — before you buy it.

3. Refunds

Refunds are handled by Google Play under its own policies, including its 48-hour return window. If something is wrong with a design you bought — it does not work on your phone, or it is not what the store page showed — write to hello@tickface.app and we will help, whether or not Google's window has passed.

4. Designs may change

New designs are added regularly. Existing ones may be improved, renamed or, rarely, retired. If a design you have bought is ever retired, your purchase remains valid on the versions of the app that include it, and we will say so in the release notes rather than removing it quietly.

5. What belongs to whom

The app, its designs, artwork, code and name belong to Atwa Labs. You may:

• Use the designs as your wallpaper, on any device you own.
• Share screenshots, photographs and videos of your own screen, anywhere, including commercially — a video of your lock screen is yours.

You may not:

• Extract, redistribute or resell the artwork, or any part of the app.
• Modify, decompile or reverse engineer the app, except where law expressly allows it.
• Circumvent purchases, or distribute modified copies of the app.

6. Permissions

The app asks for permissions only where a design needs them — Notification access for the designs that show what you are playing, approximate location for the designs that show the weather. Both are optional, and refusing them only affects those designs. See the Privacy Policy for what each one does.

7. Availability and updates

The app is provided as it is, and improvements arrive as updates through Google Play. We do not promise that it will be free of faults, or that it will work identically on every Android phone — manufacturers change how live wallpapers and battery saving behave, and some restrict them.

8. No warranty, and limits

To the extent the law allows, Tickface is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here affects consumer rights you have in your own country.

9. Third-party services

The app uses Google Play (distribution and payments) and Open-Meteo (weather for the desk-clock designs). Their own terms and privacy practices apply to what they do.

10. Ending this licence

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may end this licence if the app is used in a way that breaks these terms, in particular section 5.

11. Changes to these terms

Updated terms appear at this address with a new date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new version.

12. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without affecting the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
